The Valencia community in Spain, my country, is facing unprecedented devastation after a catastrophic flood on October 30, 2024 left many homeless, without means, and without access to the most basic things: water, electricity, and food.

This tragedy has claimed lives and devastated businesses and homes, plunging entire families into despair. And on top of that, we have to suffer the abandonment of our government.
